Welcome to Badges & Counters for the WooCommerce video guide.
This video covers basic installation and setup instructions for your WooCommerce Shop.
First, we need to install the Badges and Counters for WooCommerce plugin. Navigate to Plugins in your WordPress Dashboard.
Click Add New and then Upload Plugin. Upload the Badges and Counters for WooCommerce ZIP archive which you have downloaded officially from Envato, Codecanyon.com or Envato Elements websites. Any other source is not valid and you’ll be at risk.
When done, click the Activate Plugin button. Badges and Counters for WooCommerce are now set to go!
To visit plugin settings page and start this tutorial, navigate WooCommerce > Settings > Badges and Counters.
This page is the plugin command center. You’ll be able to set all kinds of things here.
In the installation tab, you will see that we have the option to enable custom badge override for each product, use template overrides and if needed we have fields for custom hooks.
If we go to Default Badge we will see all our settings for the default badge. Let’s change the style and color of the badge and hit save.
We will see that our badges have appeared with the style and color we chose.
In the Badge Presets tab, we can create our badge presets and after we can go to the Badge Manager tab and set our preset to be new, featured or assign them to a certain tag and category.
